Dreamers, as the name implies was our vision of what a quality country resort should be.  Architecturally built and designed by Mal & Wendy Lee.  "It had to be peaceful, tasteful and very comfortable, with a touch of romance", just what we would always look for on our weekend escapes.

In the late 90’s/early 2000 Dreamers chalets were created. Since this time Mal has developed his interest in renewable energy (and completed his masters in renewable energy at Nottingham University in the UK) and so, the concept of developing accommodation, which was environmentally friendly, and a need for larger family and group accommodation, the Eco apartments were created. Mal has designed and built the apartments with Wendy as the interior designer (she has a fashion design background). The eco apartments endeavour to cut power and gas consumption by using solar energy and innovative design processes. The internal décor and fittings are of low emissions paints, recycled timbers and construction materials for kitchen cupboards and wardrobes made from recycled plastic bags and natural fibre curtains, bed linen, carpets, rugs, couches, dining settings and even bamboo and coconut light fittings.  

Set around a beautiful Lagoon and 5 acres of riverland are our individually themed contemporary chalets and apartments. Peace and tranquil surroundings with an abundance of wildlife at your doorstep.  From your balcony you can soak in the fresh mountain air and view the still deep reflections of Mt Bogong. 

All chalets are romantically set with the choice of a loft bedroom or master bedroom with a 4 poster bed, that are self-contained and have private spa and log fire.  Candles, robes, bath oil and fluffy king towels enhance the experience.

The luxury Eco apartments are 3 bedroom/2 storey and sleep up to #7 in king and/or single beds. They offer fantastic winter snow capped mountain vistas, internal/external spa/hot tub and log fire.

Dreamers Lagoon Chalets are architecturally designed and decorated, each with its own individual flavour.  Emu Ridge is set on a secluded corner of Dreamers property with deck, sun lounge, hammock and BBQ outlooking to Mt. Emu. It features a romantic timber 4 poster bed, spa and log fire.

The Glasshouse panoramic mountain views are unbeaten, not to mention the glass surround spa set between the bathroom and balcony.

Dreamers on the Lagoon is absolute water frontage. It has a tranquil river/fishing rustic theme with a 4 poster bush pole bed standing proud in the centre of the chalet bedroom and a sunken lounge with open fireplace. 

The Snowgums is very secluded, private and romantic. On the balcony sits a wonderful large spa/hot tub with an adjoining traditionally thatched pagoda with sun lounges to lay back and take in the fresh mountain air. In winter, enjoy the cosy sunken lounge with open fire, romantic bedroom and twin shower. Perfect for honeymooners..

After a day or so - if you want to get outside - you can go skiing on snow-capped alps in winter, fish or swim in crystal mountain rivers, 4-Wheel Drive, bush walk and trekking, abseiling, rock climbing, gliding, para-gliding, horse riding with an overflowing picnic hamper or a romantic moonlit dinner for two on our private jetty.  There are also many local scenic drives with tempting markets, galleries, wineries and bakeries.

Dreamers, Mt Beauty Victoria, is nestled in the foothills of Mt Bogong, Falls Creek snowfields and Alpine National Park.  A stunning one hour drive down the Kiewa Valley from Albury-Wodonga is the picturesque village of Mt Beauty.  All year round it has lush dairy pastures.  In Winter - brilliant snow capped mountains, Autumn - bold golden colours, and Summer - warm days and cool restful evenings.
